CONCURRENT WHARFAGE: Demurrage and Wharfage are separate charges. Where loading/unloading free time and the free time for removal of the consignment have both expired, loading/unloading is still continuing, and the consignment remains on Railway premises, Demurrage and Wharfage are both leviable for the overlapping period. Wharfage alone does not imply Demurrage.
